With a professional staff that ranges from archaeologists and paleontologists to geologists and anthropologists, the Museum of Nature and Science provides fascinating exhibits. Located in Fair Park, the museum features natural exhibits from Texas and its adjacent geographical areas.
The museum boasts 280,000 specimens, including the world’s largest exhibition of Texas wildlife habitats and the Texas Tenontosaur, a prehistoric sea turtle. Formerly the Dallas Museum of Natural History, the organization now also encompasses the Dallas Children’s Museum.
